Review #406 (2017)
TTL on the bottle stands for Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation. Floral and sweet at first in the smell. Marzipan, green apples with light coconut and vanilla in the background.
Again some floral notes in the taste. Very oily, loads of white fruits and the sweetness from these. The finish is medium to long, but not much else happens. Nice and mellow but not very challenging.
I miss some complexity. The whisky is fine, but a bit boring. The 46% and the finish saves this from being too boring. For me it is just another forgettable Bourbon matured whisky though. Not saying I don’t care about Bourbon matured whisky – at all! There are just so much of it out there, and many of those far more interesting. I will give this 82/100 (20/21/21/20).
