This organic whisky, made from organic Danish barley, has matured for 4 years in ex-Oloroso casks. Dried fruits in the smell. A bit of malted barley, citrus and cherries in the background.
Dried fruits and a touch of caramel in the taste. A bit dry, with some hints of wet oak and malt in the background. The oak comes a bit forward in the finish with some exotic fruits and spices in the far background.
Good whisky with loads of flavours considering the low age. It’s not a Sherry bomb, but have had enough maturation to sharpen off the new make notes, and give it a lot of cask influence. This is just a good all-rounder, which most people will enjoy. I will give this 84/100 (21/21/21/21).
