Review #924 (2023)
Created from Moroccan Cabernet Sauvignon and American Rye casks. Mild peat and red wine influence in the smell. Actually, much more red wine than peat, as time goes by! Some oak, spices and hints of nuts as well.
Quite spicy in the taste. Oak spices and peppery notes, alongside the fruity notes from the wine. The finish is more or less a continuation of the taste, however with quite a sweet touch to it.
Quite fun to try, as you can clearly get the influence from both the wine and the rye casks. A bit more peat would have done wonders! I will give this 84/100 (21/21/21/21).
