Nice deep Sherry notes and Bourbon vanilla ice cream in <strong>the smell<\/strong>. Oak spices joins the party in the most elegant way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dried fruits \u2013 raisins in particular \u2013 and oak spices in <strong>the taste<\/strong>. Peppery notes with a dash of cinnamon and orange \u2013 still with a bit of vanilla in the background. The oak really comes forward in <strong>the finish<\/strong>, which is a great addition to the dried fruits that stays behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking at price vs quality, this is just fantastic! I wouldn\u2019t have been surprised if the price had been the double than what it is (I know many whiskies in this price range that can\u2019t compete with this!). Luckily this isn\u2019t hyped (yet), thus a fair price!
