It is fully matured in virgin oak casks. Sweat over ripe pears on <strong>the nose<\/strong>. Cherries and vanilla. After a couple of minutes, some nutty notes comes forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A bit more youthful in <strong>the taste<\/strong>. Malted barley and spices. A bit of herbs as well. <strong>The finish<\/strong> is medium long, and it is mostly the virgin oak influence that is left behind. Quite oaky in the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The smell is the most attractive part of this whisky. The taste couldn\u2019t quite follow, and the finish were a bit too simple and oaky for me. It\u2019s not bad, and I am still really curious about what we can expect from Glasgow Distillery in the future.
