It is a mix of Oloroso Sherry casks and Bourbon barrels, peated and unpeated. When the whisky is blended, they give it a finish in ex-Stout beer casks. Only 1.825 bottles were made. Licorice!! Definitely licorice in <strong>the smell<\/strong>! I actually never tried a whisky, with the smell so\u2026 Licorice!! Some hints of oak, vanilla and white fruits as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So dark and intense in <strong>the taste<\/strong>! So many things are going on \u2013 oak, spices, licorice, dried fruits, citrus and I could go on. Some cough syrup as well. After a while, the sweetness from the dried fruits leaves you with a long and <strong>pleasant finish<\/strong>. Very long \u2013 I bet you can actually chew this!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An experimental whisky, which is quite interesting. I will recommend it, for people who are searching for an unique taste experience, and not for people that \u201cjust\u201d want Scotch. Well, personally, I get more and more intrigued for every sip!
