It is not very often you come by Palo Cortado casks, and already in the smell you sense you are sitting with something a bit different! Almost like a white Port in <strong>the smell<\/strong>. Nuts, warm citrus and dried fruits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dry oak and dried fruits in <strong>the taste<\/strong>. Very intense, with notes of malt and citrus. There some sour and bitter notes in the background I can\u2019t quite place. The oak and dried fruits stays behind in <strong>the finish<\/strong>. Dry oak again, and the last lasting dried fruits are the heavy ones \u2013 like prunes and dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is great! Very different, but great! To be honest, it\u2019s quite special, and it is probably not for all. But if you like Sherry, and you like things to be a bit different \u2013 you will love this (I know I did)!
