Over ripe pears and a bit of marzipan in <strong>the smell<\/strong>. Vanilla and a touch of lemongrass in the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grain, grass and a bit of floral notes in <strong>the taste<\/strong>. A bit of over ripe plum and dried apricot as well. <strong>The finish<\/strong> is an exact continuation of the taste. However, in the end, the burned oak is a bit more noticeable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is just something about this I can\u2019t put my finger on. Is it an off note? Is it not? Still, it\u2019s impressive how much flavour they have put into a 9 year old whisky.
