Over ripe plums (a bit too ripe!) and dark chocolate in <strong>the smell<\/strong>. Caramel and some citrusy notes as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dried fruits, burned oak and toffee in <strong>the taste<\/strong>. Some sour\/citrusy notes as well (not in the complimentary good way)\u2026 Strawberry jam, winter spices and oak, lingers out in <strong>the finish<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interesting to try, but yet again, Balcones just have some citrusy\/sour oak notes, that doesn\u2019t suit my palate\u2026 There are some good things in this whisky, so if your palate is fine with this, you would probably find this very good.
