Islay peat at first in <strong>the smell<\/strong>. Actually not very aggressive, considering the high ABV and the fact that it is Islay peat! Some white fruits and a bit of ashes and citrus as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hit you in the head with a peat shovel at first sip!! Loads of peat, some white fruits and a little bit of spices in <strong>the taste<\/strong>. A bit of marzipan and sour notes in <strong>the finish<\/strong>. The peat lingers off, with a bit of spices on the side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I really like the aggressive approach this whisky offers.\u00a0 Quite simple whisky, but very quality. The label is full of flowers and butterflies \u2013 that is NOT what I imagine when drinking this! Islay whisky, like it\u2019s supposed to be.
