It is matured in 1st fill ex-Bourbon barrels, and 6.000 bottles were made. Light white fruits and some citrusy notes in <strong>the smell<\/strong>. Lemongrass and vanilla. I could fear this is bottled a bit young\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grassy and citrusy notes in <strong>the taste<\/strong>. Full of green apples and sweet desert like pears. It gets quite sweet in <strong>the finish<\/strong>. The sweetness from the white fruits mixes with the vanilla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe it would benefit with a bit more time in the casks, but for a young whisky, it already managed to extract some of the good flavours from the casks. I still look forward to some older Wolfburn whisky!
