Loads of marzipan in <strong>the smell<\/strong>, but also some off notes of\u2026 Is it Slivovitz? Plums and alcohol. Not much oak influence for a 23 year old whisky\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kind of the same impression in <strong>the taste<\/strong>. Very fruity, but more like fruits from the distillation and not the maturation. Mostly plums. <strong>The finish<\/strong> is quite decent, and leaves you some sweetness. Still plums though\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At a blind tasting, I would be in doubt to what spirit this is\u2026 And those Czech oak casks doesn\u2019t seem to leave much flavour \u2013 next time they should go with more traditional casks!
