They each picked an expression from the Glenfiddich warehouses, which was then married together by Malt Master Brian Kinsman. A sweet mix of vanilla and honey in <strong>the smell<\/strong>. Spices and herbs mixes with the oak. Just a small hint of dried fruits &#8211; like raisins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quite tasty in <strong>the taste<\/strong>. The oak really comes forward with notes of tobacco and tannins. Some more dried fruits as well. The oak has quiet down in <strong>the finish<\/strong>, and leaves room for some sweetness. Burned caramel in particular, but honey smooth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Started a bit boring perhaps, but took my by surprise. A great dram if you like oak influence. Especially I find those tobacco notes enjoyable! I dark fruity dram, that would compliment a cigar nicely.
