It is matured in first fill ex-Bourbon casks and finished in virgin oak. Fresh white fruits in <strong>the smell<\/strong>. Some grass and vanilla as well, with a bit of toffee in the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quite full in <strong>the taste<\/strong>, for such a young whisky. It is <strong>the finish <\/strong>in the virgin oak casks that gives it this oaky and spicy palate. Loads of vanilla mixes with the spices and oak in the finish, alongside some butterscotch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A fine whisky, but an even better example of why I can\u2019t wait to try some older whisky from Glasgow Distillery. The spirit is fantastic, and even at this age, they can produce some whisky that is worth the while.
