It is distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2022, so obviously quite young. A mix of spices (oak spices and the spices you get in rye whiskies), white fruits and loads of citrusy notes in <strong>the smell<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quite spicy in <strong>the taste<\/strong> \u2013 clearly you feel the rye here. Besides the fresh white fruits, like apples and pears, you also get some tropical fruits (like pineapple). <strong>The finish<\/strong> is medium and fresh, with the fruits dominating. Actually, it\u2019s quite well balanced!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is no secret in the taste, that this is a very young whisky. However, it is a very interesting 1<sup>st<\/sup> release from a Scottish distillery \u2013 other 1<sup>st<\/sup> releases are much more conventional.
