It\u00b4s a single cask from cask #12 and only 244 bottles were made. Clean and crisp with a touch of oak in <strong>the smell<\/strong>. Sweet bananas and hints of mint. Cooked white fruits with syrup and honey glaze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quite subtle in <strong>the taste<\/strong> for a whisky excess 50%. Cane sugar and oak. Unfortunately also a bit of bitter oak&#8230; Exotic fruits like pineapple, and some honey. <strong>The finish<\/strong> is mostly oak and sugar. Simple, but nice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019m a bit mixed about this expression. It\u2019s good, but not as flavourful and complex as I would expect a +40 year old to be. Not often you say this, but a couple of years less in the cask, would might just have been good for this whisky.
