It’s a limited edition, and the cask numbers are 301607/11/14/17-23. Meltet butter and caramel in the smell. A bit of oak spices as well, and after a couple of minutes, some fruity flavours starts to appear.

Very buttery at first in the taste. A bit sweet and bitter (wood bitterness). Some oak and over ripe plums as well. Not very fruity for a PX Sherry matured whisky… The sweetness returns in the finish and lingers off quite nicely with some spices.

Is this almost too buttery? I’ll bet hardcore Chardonnay fans would love this! Then sweet and bitter… I’m not quite sure what to think about this expression… Do I like it? I think so! But it is a bit confusing and seems like it can’t figure out quite which way to go… I will give this 82/100 (21/21/20/20).

Review #926 (2023) By Wilson & Morgan comes this Barrel Selection with a PX Sherry finish.
