Even though it\u2019s cask strength, it\u2019s quite mild on <strong>the nose<\/strong>. Baked apples, oak and malt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hot at first, but quickly turns to oak and malt with a smoky touch in <strong>the taste<\/strong>. Very simple, but it\u2019s working. <strong>The finish<\/strong> is a continuation of the flavours, but it gets a bit more spicy. The spices and oak combined with the cask strength is really working here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">French whisky is not widely known, but in a blind tasting, nobody would doubt this to be a scotch whisky. Whiskies from around the world is just getting better and better at making whisky, and many do it the traditional way. A simple, but good whisky, that wins by being cask strength!
