In this expression, we are having a look at ex-peated quarter casks (Laphroaig?) from Cotswolds. Only 2.950 bottles were made. White fruits with just a hint of peat in <strong>the smell<\/strong>. Green peppers (really??) and hay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Light peat at first in <strong>the taste<\/strong>. White fruits and burned oak. <strong>The finish<\/strong> is medium long, and the oak and peaty notes is what stays behind the longest. Some vanilla comes forward as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The strength is heavy, but somehow with the faint peat, it feels a bit diluted\u2026 A very strange feeling\u2026 With that said, it is still a fine whisky, with a good punch, but don\u2019t expect a heavily peated whisky.
