It is matured in First Fill Bourbon casks. White fruits in <strong>the smell<\/strong> \u2013 fresh and baked. Herbs and a dash of vanilla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Loads of flavours in <strong>the taste<\/strong> due to the high strength, but not a heavy alcohol kick \u2013 delicious! White fruits, oak spices, butterscotch and just a hint of citrusy notes \u2013 perhaps mainly orange? The oak spices get dominant in <strong>the finish<\/strong> after a couple of sips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am very surprised by the array of flavours, with regards to the alcohol kick \u2013 or absence of said! Remember, the whisky is 56.1%!! This is a great \u201call-around\u201d whisky, great for many occasions.
